Caela Who Am I...Where Do I Belong? Dainty white paws silently pressed into the earth carrying her light frame through the darkened forest. Her pale white pelt stood out in contrast to the shadows that attempted to engulf her more and more as she stepped further into the darkness. Wooly auds stood upright upon her feminine skull, pirouetting this way and that as they attempted to catch any possible sound of danger. Icy blue orbs were narrowed slightly as if she were struggling to see, yet the reasoning was vast. "Where the hell did he go? How will I ever get home now?" She thought over and over to herself. Silly female actually trusting that stranger...well....he was oddly charming. A pout pursed her chalk hued lips involuntarily at the thought of how he simply up and left her. What was the meaning of all of this? No need to dwell on it. The fact of the matter she was alone once more, and just as confused as when she began her journey. Her journey home. Where was home any way? Did she really have a pack? A heavy sigh expanded and contracted her rib cage sending a cloud of frosty hair from her dark nares. Blue, feathered appendages held neatly at her side as she trudged on into the forest, went on without a real destination anymore.

Sometimes…in order to grow stronger…one must leave their comfort zone…even if it means facing the monsters that lurk in the darkness.
It wasn’t every day that Volug left the safety of the Maive territory in order to challenge himself. After all, where there is always adventure lurking about, sometimes it was best going to ground that one didn’t find familiar. After all, by putting himself in a scary situation he would become more keen to…well…everything. Or at least…that was the plan. So far it worked out for him…especially in this place. The Shadowed Forest. Here…darkness prevailed over light…so one would normally have to focus on their senses. Smell and sight for example. Fortunately for him he was blessed with the element of Light…so the darkness was a small worry to him.
This place was probably one of the only places he could practice his Light element. Sure, nightfall brought darkness, but mostly in the Maive lands the moon could be seen, lightening up the dark voids. Where that was a good thing…it wasn’t exactly the environment he needed for this particular set of training.
Silently the lean male walked, his paws light touching the ground. Today the air was dead…which made him slightly wary. Scents were still easy to find and track…but he had grown accustomed to the winds gentle whispers in his ears. “…”
With a small smile the male focused on his blood, feeling the beating of his heart and awakening his gifts. Softly a small light came about him, lighting up his radius quite a bit.
“…this place isn’t so bad…it just needs a little sunshine.” He murmured to himself, a small chuckle coming to his lips and a wag to his tail. Why he didn’t turn on the lights before he crossed over to this place he would never know. Maybe he liked a challenge..?
